Tale Blast

“Tap-to-Blast mobile game inspired by classic stories from our childhood”

During my internship at Dream, the company who created Royal Match, my team of 12 created a tap-to-blast game. I worked on the gameplay and level design. I project managed my team using agile/scrum. In addition, I worked on quality assurance and user experience, as well as the User Interface by closely working with engineers and artists. Tale Blast became a ready to ship title that is under NDA. DRAGON’S LOOT

“A puzzle game where the player tries to match the cards on a board to create poker hands to defeat dragons.”

At Mafia Games, I had the opportunity to work as a game Designer, where I created Design and Concept documents, and was a part of Dragon Loot’s production from its start to finish. I also balanced the game, and created a monetization plan for it.

“A driving game set in post apocalyptic America”

As a part of Capstone, I worked as the Project Manager and UI/UX designer, as well as a programmer for Sunset Chasers. I managed a team of 8 over the course of 3 months using Agile/Scrum methodologies. I created user wireframes and worked with the UI artists to create top quality assets for our game. I constantly tested the game in order to make sure the usability of our product.

“A hectic game about riding the subway in New York and the colorful personalities living in the city”

Project Type: Hackathon (winner) | Role: Game Programmer | Timeline: December 2023

For NYU Mini Hackathon 2023, we created a small game inspired by our daily commute to school in the span of around 7 hours. I mainly worked on the code of the core gameplay loop, as well as the code for the phone in game using unity.

PLAY PRETENDER

Project Type: School | Role: Game Programmer | Timeline: October - November 2023

As a part of Major Studio Fall, we created Play Pretender, a narrative based chatroom game where the player has to take on the role of Jason as a third party, essentially “pretending” to be him. For this project, I created a narrative system using Unity C# scripting, that is accessible from the inspector, and can be easily manipulated by the narrative designers to create branching narratives.

“An arcade game about ruining a kid’s birthday party”

For Global Game Jam 2025, we created a small game about using a champagne bottle as a gun, inspired by the theme of “bubbles”. Over the course of a weekend we conceptualized the design, created the art assets in a Y2K style, and developed it using Unity 2D.

Slime vs Slime

“A Plants vs Zombies inspired tactical game where the player upgrades their units by merging them together”

Project Type: School work | Role: Project Manager | Timeline: October - November 2022

As a part of Intermediate Game Dev, I had the opportunity to manage a group of 4 to make a game in the span of 4 weeks. I created a comprehensive backlog using Trello to keep track of tasks and created weekly milestones that accommodated to my teammates needs.

Project Type: Hackathon (2nd Place) | Role: Artist & Game Designer | Timeline: June 2021

“2D puzzle platformer where the player changes its size to get over obstacles”

As a part of Tevfik Fikret Hackathon, we created a platformer in 3 days, where the player traverses through obstacles by changing their size. The theme was Circle and we manifested that theme in our main character as a Donut. I used photoshop to create the assets and IMovie for the opening animation. I also did level design to plan out unique ways the mechanic could be utilized. We won 2nd place for best game overall.
